The mission of the Veterinary Faculty in Zagreb is to improve and enhance the leading role of higher education and provide scientific leadership position in the field of veterinary medicine and science common in Croatia and wider region.
These tasks will be realized in a traditional, planned IT personnel policy, modern equipment and in connecting in Europe and world-wide.
In this particular envisages and expects a marked development of regional cooperation within the EU, especially within organizations and organizations such as VetNEST-, and colleges and universities with whom there are contracts for direct cooperation.
The road to the establishment of the Veterinary Faculty in Zagreb was very long and arduous. The origins of the foundation veterinary school comes from the time when Croatia was politically disunited, or at the time when the Croatian lands are under different administrations.
