Dr Tjeerd Jorna is travelling to Beijing on his first visit to The Peoples Republic of China where he will meet Mr Jia Youling and the members of the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA).
Dr Jorna wants to learn about the veterinary profession in China. He is going to introduce the WVA to the CVMA and tell their members about the WVA strategy and policies.
With WVA Congresses in 2011 and 2013, Dr Jorna wants to encourage Chinese veterinarians to participate in both congresses and also the forthcoming Presidents’ Assembly to be held in Paris on Friday the 21st of May 2010.
Dr Jorna will be encouraging the CVMA to become active members of the WVA.
