On the map of Minas Gerais, the Catholic University is present in key regions of the state, through a structure multicampi consists of over one hundred buildings that house laboratories, libraries, museums, TV channel, theater workshop, distance learning , multimedia classrooms, theaters, auditoriums, hospitals, veterinary clinics, physiotherapy, dentistry and psychology, and other devices equipped with modern technological resources and teaching.

The course of Veterinary Medicine campus PUC Minas Pocos de Caldas aims to train veterinarians capable of acting, so general, the promotion of animal health and human act in the control of zoonoses and also improving the quantity and quality animal products either by increasing production, and the sanitary control of livestock and alimentos.

The veterinarian works in various sectors of animal production, directly in the field, through strategic planning in the prevention, control and eradication of diseases in animal nutrition in the management, reproduction and breeding, and indirectly linked to the industries of medicines, vaccines, laboratories, feed mills and research institutes.
