This is the opinion of those who chose the profession, research revealed in the Regional Medical Veterinária.A area of expertise of the veterinarian is very broad. The professional can work in clinics, large and small animals, sanitary inspection, education, research companies, zoos, breeding, nutrition, genetics and breeding, wildlife, biotechnology, etc..
As important as the vocation is to choose a good university to study. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine FESURV is inserted in a region where the job market is booming, is in the area of large animals, pigs or poultry. The curriculum structure offered by the School seeks to form professionals able to this growing regional market, and not just for him. The extensive training, as appropriate with the new requirements of the Ministry of Education (Resolution No. 2 of 18 June 2007) to work in different sectors in any Brazilian state.
Ninety percent of teachers of the course have at least masters level degrees.
The School also has a great physical LABORATORY AND SECTORS OF PRODUCTION AND BREEDING ANIMAL, which hosts classes and are designed research projects. The School also has a farm-school, held in partnership with Perdigão S. A., where they are housed 40 thousand birds and 3,600 pigs.
