The School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry (UAN) was started in 1996. About 100 veterinarians have graduated from the school and there are currently about 250 students.
The school aims to provide a comprehensive training that will enable veterinary graduates to generate solutions related to Animal health and contribute to the quality of life of Colombians.
The curriculum provides the veterinary competencies and allows students to develop in an area of choice including non-conventioal species.
