The Course of Veterinary Medicine, located in a predominantly agricultural region, has an important role in generating and disseminating new and appropriate techniques, the result of the validation of technologies in this area of professional practice or research.

The differentiated instruction to provide solid academic training for students. The modern teaching resources have proved well capable of equipping the theoretical and practical.

It is in the laboratories, experimenting and keeping teachers in their research projects and exits to the field, student complete most of their academic activities. With this model, the University Anhanguera-Uniderp puts professionals with high competence in the service of Brazilian society.

The Veterinary Hospital of the University Anhanguera Uniderp-opened in September 1997, aims to support the course of Veterinary Medicine, as different disciplines of the course, especially in the areas of medical and surgical, are taught in the hospital. That way, opened the service to the community in general, in order to get sufficient sample for both teaching activities and for research.

Besides the teachers, the Veterinary Hospital, has veterinarians specially recruited for this service, as well as the presence of student interns and fellows.
