The Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) International Symposium and Workshop are taking place from 12 to 14 April 2010 in Melbourne, Australia.

The symposium will feature:
a series of inspiring keynote speakers including:

An interactive workshop will be based around a simulated outbreak of FMD in an Australian setting.

Topics for groups to explore include

- - diagnostic technologies
- - management of FMD in endemic situations

Networking at social functions including the Meat and Livestock Australia
