Faculty of Biotechnology and Veterinary Biotechnology and Veterinary Medicine (Veterinary Faculty) is one of the oldest in the Irkutsk State Agricultural Academy. The Faculty of Biotechnology and Veterinary Medicine provides training in three areas: "Zooengeneery" full-time and part-time forms of education with qualifications zoo, with a degree in Veterinary Medicine (major diseases of small domestic and exotic animals) to full-time and part-time form of training with qualified veterinary surgeon.
In 2009 opened a new specialty "Technology of production and processing of agricultural products" full-time training with qualified technologist.
