The Institute of Veterinary Medicine is the oldest institution of higher education, a recognized leader of veterinary education in the country, one of the first established in Omsk. Educated in the difficult years of civil war in the status of the faculty on the basis of the agricultural college, he was two years later in a separate institution from year to year, strengthened its position and has now reached its maximum development. Institute of Veterinary Medicine OmGAU supports creative contacts with the Hanover School of Veterinary (Germany). Over the past 8 years, 20 doctors and candidates received training in Hanover, five of whom successfully defended their doctoral dissertations.
