WVA’s Experience and Supportive Tools to promote Prudent Use of Antimicrobials Worldwide

On 30th October 2018, WVA representative, Dr Zeev Noga participated at the 2nd OIE Global Conference on Antimicrobial Resistance

and presented the WVA’s Experience and Supportive Tools to promote Prudent Use of Antimicrobials Worldwide

The conference was attended by more than 500 participants, including representatives of OIE’s 182 Member Countries, of international partners as well as representatives from the meat, dairy, poultry, egg, aquaculture and pharmaceutical industries, civil society and academia.

Dr Noga concluded his presentation by pointing out that WVA strives for veterinary access to a broad range of safe and effective antimicrobials and promotes prudent use of antimicrobials worldwide using the following supportive tools:

  • Publication of Position Statements, Articles and Press Releasees
  • Collaboration with Global Partners
