Theme of Symposium is “Laboratory Animal Science in the New millennium – Challenges and Solutions” and sponsored by the LASAI, NCLAS, ICMR, CPCSEA and FIAPO.

There will be a Workshop on Animal Experimentation – trouble shooting meant for post graduate students of Biological, Veterinary and Pharma Sciences and other related research areas. The Workshop will follow Two Days deliberations on the current theme topics in Laboratory Animal Discipline which will be addressed by eminent speakers. Also there will be free communications (both oral and poster) for the young and upcoming Scientists and participants during the symposium.

AVS Congress 2012

The annual AVS Congress 2012 will be held at the Royal Veterinary College, London, over the weekend of the 4th and 5th February 2012, and will be taking on the theme of 'Vets on Top'. The weekend aims for students from all 8 veterinary schools across the UK and Ireland to attend lectures, seminars and practicals based on topics that aren't fully covered during our formal veterinary education. This year the broad theme allows us to present material covering a wide variety of topics, and as such, the committee hopes to invite veterinary surgeons and professionals that have knowledge in a variety of fields to present lectures to an audience of up to three hundred students, as well as delivering practical sessions designed to enhance clinical and technical skills.
