At the Dutch Island of Vlieland.
“Healthy wildlife, healthy people”
Zoonotic wildlife diseases threaten not only wild animals, but through these also domesticated animals and humans. Emerging infectious diseases are known to arise for 75% from the animal reservoir, in which wildlife plays an important role. By focusing on the interface between wildlife health and public health, we intend to stimulate a stronger interaction between professionals from these disciplines. Besides this theme, we also invite abstracts on all other topics related to wildlife health.

Taken together, this conference will be of great interest for people from many different disciplines, ranging from both public health professionals and wildlife diseases specialists, to ecologists, biologists and epidemiologists.
