The association was established in 1988 with the following objectives;
i. To promote professional brotherhood amongst the alumni.
ii. To promote and safeguard the interests of the Alumni and to arrange discussion on matters of professional interest.
iii. To maintain and renew the bonds of affection with the alma-meter.
iv. To acquaint and update the members with the latest know-how in Veterinary and related sciences.
v. To help in establishing a professional code of conduct for the veterinarians.
vi. To bring out relevant publications to highlight the aims, objectives and activities of the association.
Membership :
i. The graduates obtaining a degree from the College of Vet. Science Ludhiana and its predecessor colleges at Hissar and Lahore. All the present and ex-staff members of the Vet. college will be deemed to be members of the association.
ii. All postgraduate students enrolled in College of Vet. Science, Ludhiana.
iii. All the vet. graduates serving in the Govt. agencies / corporations / Banks etc. located in the State of Punjab.
